some facts:
I’m based in Los Angeles, & I’m Oregon raised!
I’ve lived in in LA since 2019
I’m 31, have a cat, a husband, and a loving community around me <3
I’ve been making art since I was a kiddo, but got my BA in Journalism back in 2017
I went back to school in 2019 to get my MFA in Fine Art to follow my art passions!
I work full time restoring posters & art while still making time to pursue my own art practice.
Curiosity is one of my favorite traits I’ve built up more and more over the course of my life!
some thoughts on my style:
In my work I love to explore themes of play, a sense of calm, and a wide use of color. Memories, personal connection, and the natural world find their way into my art, writing, photography, and book-making. I look at the world through a reflective and compassionate lens.
I also genuinely enjoy content creation and sharing the process of what I make or like to do. Youtube has allowed me to show a deeper look at how something is created or the thoughts behind it. I think that’s something that often gets missed by people who view art.
Film photography and my travels play a huge role in how/what I create as well.
